October through April, with November–March ideal. Luxor receives virtually no rainfall year-round, so comfort is entirely driven by temperature. From October to April daytime highs stay between roughly 77°F and 90°F (25–32°C), making full-day temple and tomb visits manageable. May through September sees highs routinely exceeding 104°F (40°C), which makes outdoor archaeology sites dangerous and exhausting. The shoulder months of October–November and March–April offer good weather with somewhat thinner crowds than peak December–February
